- The purpose of the Oil Linseed Medium is to dilute the consistency of the paste, improve flow and wetting, slow drying, increase the durability of the film and resistance to yellowing.

- The easiest way is to use it in equal parts with Phoenix Fine Rectified Turpentine, in this way the fluidity of the paint is achieved with a small amount of oil and the solvent helps to improve the drying time.

- For layer paints, start with a stain, diluting only with Fine Rectified Turpentine, and then gradually increase the proportion of Oil Linseed Medium up to 50%.
